STORMEN 2013 is collaboration between Eivind Seljeseth, Brynjar Bandlien, Ingeleiv Berstad, Marianne Skjeldal, Kristin Helgebostad, Pernille Holden, Sigrid Kopperdal, Marte Reithaug Sterud and Venke Marie Sortland. The project was based on Glen Tetley's ballet The Tempest of 1979, created with music of Arne Nordheim. Stormen/The Tempest was the Norwegain National Ballet's trademark throughout the 80s, and it is one of Norway 's iconic dance works on par with classics such as Swan Lake and The Rite of Spring.

"We are investigating how The tempest is manifested in our collective memory. We are eleven artists who work non-hierarchical in relation to each other, but also with the memories receiving and being given importance. By giving all thoughts and recollections weight no matter from who or where they come from, we want to address who is setting the agenda for what is to be remembered. In this way, we discuss how we relate to our own history. "
